We are passionate about reaching net zero and believe delivering the infrastructure to promote a transition to electric vehicles is essential to achieve this goal.
Why it matters
“The full transition to electric vehicles (EVs) will be one of the most important actions to achieve the UK’s Net Zero target.” The Climate Change Committee.
Urgent action is needed to reach the UK’s net zero targets and ensure the global temperature does not rise by more than 1.5 degrees. In the UK, transport is the highest emitting sector, producing 22% of greenhouse gas emissions, meaning a transition from petrol and diesel vehicles to electric vehicles is essential if we are to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Working sustainably
Our commitment to climate change is integral to the way we operate as a company. Through hybrid working and prioritising carbon efficiency we have limited our annual carbon footprint to just 22.47 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e).
We have proudly partnered with Carbon Neutral Britain to offset our carbon footprint and become certified as a carbon neutral business. Through our offsetting portfolio, we are supporting forest creation in the UK, as well as wind farm, hydro power, and reforestation projects in developing countries. Beyond the positive environmental impact, these projects also provide lasting social and economic benefits.
