TfL Taxi & Private Hire Offer: Terms & Conditions
Eligibility The discounted charging rate is available to TfL-licensed taxi and private hire vehicle (PHV) drivers who successfully register for the offer and meet the eligibility requirements set out above.
Registration and verification To register, you must provide a valid TfL taxi or private hire driver licence number and the email address associated with your Zest app account. Zest will verify the licence details provided before activating the discounted rate.
Discount Eligible drivers will receive 6p per kWh off the advertised rate for eligible DC rapid and ultra-rapid charging on the Zest network in London.
Eligible charging The discount applies only to eligible DC rapid and ultra-rapid charging sessions at participating Zest charging locations in London. The discount does not apply to AC charging or charging at locations outside London.
Activation The discounted rate will be applied automatically once your registration has been approved and the discount has been activated on your Zest account. No promotional code is required. The discount will not apply retrospectively to charging sessions completed before activation.
Zest account You must have an active Zest app account registered to the same email address provided during sign-up. You must use the Zest app and the eligible account when starting a charging session for the discount to apply.
Licence status You must hold a valid TfL taxi or private hire driver licence to remain eligible for the discounted rate. Zest may check eligibility from time to time and may suspend or remove the discount if you no longer meet the eligibility requirements.
Availability The discounted rate is subject to charger availability and the availability of eligible Zest charging locations. The discount does not guarantee access to a charger or a particular charging location.
Changes and withdrawal Zest reserves the right to change or withdraw the discounted rate at any time. Where reasonably practicable, Zest will provide notice of any significant changes.
Misuse Zest reserves the right to refuse, suspend or withdraw the discounted rate where it reasonably believes that the offer has been misused, eligibility requirements have not been met, or inaccurate or fraudulent information has been provided.
General The discounted rate cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefit. The offer is subject to Zest's standard charging terms and conditions, which continue to apply to all charging sessions.
