Zest, one of the UK’s fastest growing EV charging infrastructure networks, has achieved UVDB Audit Verified accreditation for the Achilles Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB).
Utility companies see their best suppliers as an extension of their organisations and strive for a transparent and efficient collaboration. Achilles UVDB enables companies in the utility sector to use a proven supplier pre-qualification system to manage risk within the supply chain and comply with regulations.
This validation was the result of a rigorous audit of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) management systems and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). It will be reassessed at regular intervals. The accreditation enables its utility customers to reduce the time they spend pre-qualifying potential suppliers and provides up-to-date evidence of its capability and understanding of the sector’s requirements.
Zest CEO, Robin Heap said: “We’re proud to have achieved Achilles UVDB accreditation. As a supplier to the utility sector, it demonstrates that we fully understand and meet the operational requirements of companies in this market.”
