Zest has opened a new rapid EV charging facility at the Farmfoods store on Oasby Croft off Tong Street in Bradford, as part of a partnership with Signature Investments.
Located in a busy retail area, the site features four 75kW charging spaces, positioned close to a number of popular outlets, including Starbucks, enabling drivers to conveniently top up their vehicles while on the go.
The launch follows the recent opening of Zest’s ultra-rapid charging facility on Legrams Lane in Bradford, further strengthening the availability of high-quality charging infrastructure across the local area.
Aziz Hajee, Signature Investments said:
“We’re pleased to announce our partnership with Zest through the delivery of EV charging at our Farmfoods site in Bradford. Integrating charging infrastructure into well-located retail destinations helps ensure sites remain relevant and accessible as demand for electric vehicles continues to grow.”
Robin Heap, CEO at Zest, said:
“Zest’s growing presence at leading retail sites with brands such as Aldi, Co-op, Home Bargains, Spar, Tesco, and now Farmfoods, reflects our commitment to making EV charging fit easily into our daily routines. By installing reliable, convenient chargers at busy retail locations like this in Bradford, we’re helping more drivers transition to electric and supporting cleaner, more sustainable communities.”
